Happie NEW Year

Like what I have said on the tag board, "I do not make New Year Resolutions as they are tough to keep up with". Why stress yourself with more goals than you already have placed onto you by others. Hence, I have stopped setting resolutions since secondary school. It will be less intimidating and stressful to set resolutions along they way and handle them one at a time. Though there are goals that I would like to set for myself for this New Year but I will get judged if I fail to see to them. Lolx. I such a coward. Fear to be judged. Hee hee...decided to keep my resolutions to myself. A pity that I did not have a good year end for 2005: for myself and some other people. May I have a better year ahead and to become a better person. *This is not a resolution!*
In time of need you will have a clearer picture of who your friends are. People always say that those who still stay by your side are your true friends. I dare not agree readily on that statement. Let's say the situation I am in, I did something which is against my friends’ principles/beliefs/guidelines, which they cannot understand (they feel that they do not have to understand as it is definitely wrong w/o any excuse, etc.). Hence, these true friends cannot offer me their support now but they will still be by my side when I need them in other areas. They can still be considered my true friends as I respect the fact that everyone has their own difference. I would just wish for friends to be forgiving and accepting to my wrongdoings, if possible, perhaps give me a hint or two as to if it is fine for me to talk to you again. "A listening ear": it is easy to offer or find just a listening ear. All you have to do is to sit down there and "hmm...orh...yah...." It is the response/feeling and understanding/guidance you get in return distinguish THE "listening ear". In time of great serious need when you cannot seems to find any "ears" to pour your sorrows to, calm down as you will find this particular "ear" which has always been by your side. It might not be the best "ear" as it would not offer you any 2nd person's opinion; comfort and hope is what you will get. Hee hee...that "ear" is from your inner self. =)

27th Dec Tuesday

Went out today with Xiang Jing, Aileen, Woon Yeng and Liyun. My close friends since Primary school. We have known each other for about 9 years plus plus. However, the time we spend together might not be as much as that i spend hanging out with my current classmates. We are still as close for I know that when I need someone to chat with, shop with or party with, they will always there. For example for today's gathering, each of them had somethings on but they somehow managed to it back. We went to seoul garden for lunch..the five of us paid about $13.10 each as there was some student discount during the week days. Cheap! I felt that it was a very sweet and warmth meal as we were cooking for each other. and making lots of noisy laughing loudly. Hee hee... Though I meet them only like once a year, I dont feel that distant from them. Maybe not that close of totally clear about every details of their life but can still find many topic to talk with them. After filling out stomach, we left seoul garden with a full stomach, full bladder and stinky hair and clothings. Following that we went to Xiang Jing's house to play Cluedo. It's rather challenging as you have to remember what each other opponent said. Rather confusing too. Had lots of fun as some of us try to "sabo" and prevent each other from winning. Brought back fond memories of me playing board game when I was a kid -- though i still think that I am a growing kid. Do u remember when is the last time u played a board game? It is a refreshing change from all the IT games...
There are many gatherings organised at the end of the year. This makes me feel that time is really passing very fast and that school is starting very soon. I guess it is mainly bcos I am in rushing for time to at least meet up with my friends before I leave for Miami. No time! So people when I organise gathering for any event please give your full support! It's not a "piece of cake".
~My ambition is not to be an event planner, but for friends I dont mind going through all the trouble~
